Strange Island is the type of seed you load when you want Minecraft to feel a little wrong in the best possible way. The terrain has an island-style layout, dark oak and mansion energy, village-like structure potential, and steep landforms that make the world feel less predictable than a clean plains spawn.
The smartest first step is to scout the shoreline before you commit to a base. That matters more here than on a basic village seed.
